John Deere Award

John Deere, the Official Equipment Supplier of the Breeders' Cup World Championships, has teamed with Breeders' Cup to create the John Deere Breeder Award. The John Deere Breeder Award will be presented to one Thoroughbred breeder from the 2026 Breeders' Cup Challenge Series and Championship races. John Deere will provide a TX Gator™️ Utility Vehicle, valued at $12,000, to the winning breeder.*

Breeders' Cup will track the progress of breeders during the 2026 Challenge and Championships season. The winning breeder of each official Challenge and Championships race will receive the following quantity of entries:

For race winners with multiple breeders, entries will be distributed evenly between each breeder. If a race finishes in a dead heat, entries will be distributed evenly between the two winning breeders.

The winning breeder will be selected via a drawing following the conclusion of the Breeders' Cup World Championships with total entries per breeder equaling the accumulation of entries earned during the calendar year. Entries will be awarded for a “Win” in a Breeders' Cup Challenge and Championships race.
